Project: Counterpart to the Durga/Lioness avatar will be a representation of BR Ambedkar's 'Sankalp Bhumi' in Baroda's main park Kamatibaug- the tree beneath which he made his vow to fight for social justice. Yet that tree was washed away in a monsoon, the present Sankalp Bhumi being a replanted bough attempting to find its footing, presenting one green branch. Inspiring in a way consistent with Ambedkar (who wrote the first draft of the Indian Constitution) himself.
