Project: Vishwamitri appears in the Ramayana as a Rishi (a sage who acquires supernatural powers through the practice of austerities). He is also associated with the area Baroda now occupies, having founded temples along the banks of the river now named after him. In the MahaBaroda Project it is his figure that in fact represents the Vishwamitri River at Proposal center. Shakti Bhatt ji, a teacher here, posed.
